Upland Design develops innovative and imaginative playgrounds. We incorporate ways to exercise the mind and the body, designing fresh play experiences into every site. Texture, movement, play, surprise and color are major elements of every playground design. We start by listening to you and understanding the needs of your community. We stay with you; then together, we inspire children to explore their imagination and safely find creative play.

Play is where children explore and discover in a fun atmosphere. It is the way in which they learn. We incorporate the play elements that help develop social, physical and cognitive skills. But more importantly, the playgrounds we create invite children and families to go outside over and over again.

We recognize the need for physical challenges and small doses of risk taking in play areas. With one or more National Recreation and Park Association certified playground safety inspectors overseeing every playground project, you know that the federal guidelines for safety are being followed.
