Design, LTD believes that each project has a unique site with distinct
goals. Staff members work with clients to identify site strengths and
sensitivities and then create a strong aesthetic by applying layers of
Texture, Movement, Play, Surprise, and Color.
Staff
members at Upland Design have experience in both public and private
sectors. Their experience includes site planning, park planning and
renovation, neighborhood parks, sports fields, natural areas, trail
layout, bikeway planning, playground design, landscape planning,
volunteer coordination, zoning board submittals, streetscapes and
parking areas. The staff provides assistance from start to finish,
working with the client from initial concepts and site plans through
construction observation. Upland Design is prepared to function as
overall project coordinator, principal consultant or as part of a
larger design team depending on the client's needs. The creative
abilities of our staff are enhanced by our demonstrated problem-solving
skills, attention to detail and ability to work with professionals in
